You Can’t Fix Stupid

Yesterday, I was conversing with a friend via E mail. She said that earlier in the day, she’d received a E mail from a cousin of her husband. The E mail was very derogatory about certain political candidates and done from a religious standpoint. The little lines about Barack being a Muslim(he is not since, well, he and I are part of the same denomination of church) and that, due to a leniant stance on homosexuality, other candidates were pro-gay(what exactly is “pro gay”?)

My friend took offense to the wording of the E mail and wrote back to her relative saying so. She took it a step further and said she must assume that her relative wants to go back to the days of lynchings and attack dogs. After all, she spewed such bigoted views in the E mail, she’s gotta be a hatemonger, right?
