What Comes Around…

I went to my doctor a few days ago, complaining of pain in my esophagus, my voice being kinda raw and with the full knowledge this wasn’t a heart attack, but acid reflux. Been there, done that, got the tee shirt, as the saying goes.

The thing is, the medication that works the best is, oh, about $140 for a month. Grrrr. I hate spending money when my body doesn’t cooperate.

I told this problem to my doc. He smiled and said, “I’ll help you out with that.” He stepped out for a few minutes and, when he returned, was carrying a month’s worth of free samples of previously mentioned meds.

I thanked him for his generosity
