Marcus and Mrs. Thrasher

When I was in 5th grade at Jonesburg Elementary School, Mrs. Laura Thrasher was my teacher (and one of the best teachers I ever had). The Thrashers and my parents are now good friends and I was so happy to see Mrs. Thrasher at my folks’ 40th anniversary celebration. Mrs. Thrasher helped me form my love of literature back in 5th grade when (God knows how) I read around 150 books throughout that year. Did that help found the writer you’re now reading? Maybe so!
